In 2002 we planted nine gallons of fathead minnows in the lake and one gallon in a private pond to encourage reproduction of the minnows for further plantings in Hackert Lake. We
learned from the first harvest that we can't leave the minnows too long in the trap or they will die. The second harvest took
place in July 2002... shown here is our working President, Bob Haupt, harvesting the minnows to be planted in our lake.
